Mark Howell is the County Councillor for the Cambourne Division and the District Councillor for the Caxton & Papworth Ward.
Mark: "The past year has demonstrated the importance of two sectors of the economy at which our County excels. Our life chances are boosted by our local medical research which we should all be very proud of. Equally, digital technology and software have enabled many of us to work from home, keep in touch with loved ones and continue education.
I do not believe those leading these fields should face long commutes each day to the science parks. Bourn, Cambourne, Longstowe and Little Gransden must have the best public transport system. I will fight for our area to have an excellent busway, road and rail. I will continue to campaign for better roads, an integrated public transport system and improved cycleways.
Local housing for local people is vital, so our young people can have their own homes near us, keeping our rural villages and our town alive.
Because of the difficulty in meeting up, if you wish to contact me please ring or send me an email. We can meet via Zoom, or if you would still prefer to meet me in person, I am more than happy to pop round. Please let me know and I will arrive at a prearranged time and speak outside your home at a two metre/three-yard distance."
